Challenge

Sour beer is a true craft, standing out with vibrant flavor notes and sharp acidity. The craft beer market boldly experiments with both taste and design, but Sour Sour had to be even more distinctive—something you wouldn’t find on any bar counter or in a typical design gallery.

Solution

The core idea was ACID – vibrant colors and free, irregular lines expressing acidity. Unexpected label cut-outs reveal a glossy black can surface, while the contrast between matte labels and glossy aluminum enhances the tactile difference between surfaces.

GENYS Sour Sour became a bold, eye-catching product whose design precisely conveys the product philosophy. The unique label solution allows it to stand out on shelves, attract adventurous beer enthusiasts, and emphasize the distinctive taste experience.
