
Challenge
Like many of our clients, this smoked meat producer was a small player in a large market. Similar to them, this smoked meat producer struggled to secure shelf space in major retail chains and turned to us for help.
Solution
We developed a new strategy and brand for Ažuolų Ūkis, inspired by Lithuanian folklore and designed to symbolize strength and masculinity in a way that suited home-style smoked meat products. Craft paper replaced plastic, leaving the packaging partially open so the authentic aroma of smoked meat could come through. The design is reinforced with dark, butcher-style colors and handwritten typography, emphasizing the idea of farm-made production.
Results
The product became a category bestseller, won strong customer loyalty, and exceeded sales expectations.
