
Challenge
VAFO Farma SRO, one of Europe’s largest pet food manufacturers, requested a packaging concept adaptable to future products. The packaging needed to communicate a premium dog food image and evoke the feeling of the wild.
Solution
The design features extensive wild nature imagery—mountains, rivers, and forests. A wolf, associated with wild dogs, is emphasized, while different life stages are represented by wolves of different ages to clarify the product’s purpose. The background remains consistent across all categories. A black lower section reinforces the brand’s super-premium positioning. Flavors are easily distinguished through colored labels and graphic symbols. Key information (age and flavor) is grouped in one area, using slab serif typography to reinforce the idea of natural strength.
Results
The packaging successfully conveys a wild, super-premium dog food identity.
