
Challenge
Kamado Bono grills are manufactured on the same production line as competitors’ products, which resulted in nearly identical packaging—differing only by the logo. The boxes did not clearly indicate which model was inside (Minimo – 13″, Media – 17″, Grande – 21″), the color was not specified, and the six included accessories often went unnoticed. The white cardboard box did not meet premium market expectations.
Solution
We added stickers with the model name and a short description of the recommended number of users. A comparison table of all three models was printed on the side of the box. Icons representing the six included accessories were integrated with brief explanations, and a small sticker was added for each color option. The box was finished in a dark matte graphite tone with a UV-varnished logo and a minimalist contour illustration. An A5 informational leaflet was placed inside.
Results
Incorrect model deliveries decreased by 70%. More than 60% of customers independently selected the correct model using a QR-code-guided assistant. Sales conversion increased by 15% due to the clear presentation of the six included accessories on the packaging. After introducing the “Color: …” sticker, color change requests dropped almost to zero. 80% of surveyed customers rated the new packaging as premium, strengthening the Kamado Bono brand image.
