
Challenge
KUHNE was founded by our friends, which gave us complete creative freedom to develop a new brand and logo for a small ribs and burgers spot. The space, around 12 sq. m, resembled a cozy kitchen where the owner cooked and took orders himself, creating a friendly, home-kitchen atmosphere.
Solution
Inspired by Lithuanian Soviet-era kitchen traditions—when ideas of freedom and parties were born in Kaunas—the name KUHNE was created (from the Russian “kuhnja” and the German “küche”). Following market trends and a focused menu of pork ribs and pulled-pork burgers, a meat cleaver symbol was used in the logo to emphasize fresh meat. The slogan “Hunger Killers” naturally reinforced the bold and aggressive brand character.
Results
The packaging and brand create a cozy, traditional impression with a clear emphasis on meat quality.
