
Challenge
The Baltija confectionery brand is named after the Baltic Sea and inspired by it, symbolizing the connection between eight different countries. A lighthouse was chosen as the central symbol, while a deep green-blue color palette added a sense of premium quality and helped the packaging stand out among other Baltic region products.
Solution
Specific national symbols were intentionally avoided, creating a timeless Victorian-style design with wave motifs. The background features a sea panorama with a lighthouse. Three packaging formats were created: • a box with 50+ chocolates featuring paper dividers, • a 15-chocolate box with an unconventional lid, • and a chocolate bar packaged in a cardboard sleeve using the same graphic concept.
Results
The packaging works well as a Baltic region souvenir, clearly emphasizing the maritime theme. Attention to detail and aesthetics creates positive emotions and a premium perception.
